Questions to Ponder

So what are you focusing on today? Are you anxious? Are you worried? Are you grieving? Or are you filled with hope? How do you see your world?

In today's world, there doesn't seem to be a lot of hope. Between COVID, the election, social unrest and a fear of future events, people are simply overwhelmed. This statement is true for believers and non-believers alike, so what is wrong with this picture? As the Body of Christ, we should be excited. For those of us who are awaiting the return of our Savior Jesus Christ, this is our time to LOOK UP, to RISE UP, and PROCLAIM the time for His return is near and that we have nothing to fear.

I have learned that without Christ we have no hope, but with Him we can endure all things because we know that this existence is only temporary. When you find yourself scared, worried, fearful, or grieved over things that are simply out of your control, STOP and declare just as David did in Psalm 43:5 "Why , my soul, are so dejected? Why are you in such turmoil? Put your hope in God, for I will still praise Him, my Savior and my God." CSB.
